Vacation Bible School

Jesus Our Healer

Summer Vacation Kingdom Equipping School

For Kids Grades K - 8

June 19 - 23, 2017, 2:00 p.m.  - 5:00 p.m.

This exciting equipping week for children and youth in Grades K - 8 will lay an excellent foundation of what the Bible has to say about healing. It includes an excellent understanding of what faith really is. Our equipping focus will be on grounding participants solidly in the Word so they are well equipped to step out boldly and see our Heavenly Father work miracles in their lives to the glory of Jesus. Children and youth possess a natural interest and hunger to see the greater works Jesus said we would do manifest. We will equip participants in the Bible way to stand in faith for healing - body, mind, soul, and spirit. Our children and youth are called to take their place in the Body of Christ in this NOW time in His Story. Along with all of the generations, we called to arise and shine in His name, in the power of His Word, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and most importantly, in the power of His LOVE; to BE His Body on the Earth as it is in Heaven.

Update/Photos of the Week
Our teachers included: Lin Campbell, Rev. Lorrie Hart, Jan Demirgian, Christina Ward, and Dr. Tammy Sorenson, with daily worship led by Tammy Sorenson. Volunteers for snacks and crafts included Carole Broyles, Elaine Mackay, Ragena White, Cathy Gradine, and Sharon Lemelman, with Betty Sweigert doing an excellent job of sharing her gift of heading up our crafts.

The students, Grades K – 8, learned a rich variety of Biblical truths about Jesus as our Healer: The Great Physician, Where Does Sickness Come From?, By His Stripes We Are Healed, To You I Give the Power, Expect a Miracle, The Gift of Faith, Healings or Miracles?, What It Really Means to Believe, The Secret to Jesus’ Healing Ministry, and Biblical Patterns for Healing the Sick. It was a tremendous blessing to equip and empower this upcoming generation on their journeys of understanding their identity in Christ and in their Kingdom calling. One of the students received a healing in her back, giving all praise and glory to Jesus our Healer!
