A Place of Peace in the Middle of the City

Found in the center of our campus, just a short walk from Main Street in downtown Hendersonville, the Memorial Garden is a place you can come for prayer and meditation. Available Sunday mornings and during weekday office hours, you will find it to be a calm and peaceful location for you to take a short break from the noise and chaos of every day life.  Whether you are a member of our church or just looking for a moment of peace during the day, you are welcome to take advantage of this space.

On the north wall of the Memorial Garden are two bronze plaques, upon which is recorded the names of those whose ashes rest in the garden.  Members of the church and their immediate family are welcome to request to have their ash remains interred here.  We continue to thank and praise God for the life of his saints and celebrate their entering into their rest and the glorious presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Family members and friends of loved ones interred in the church's Memorial Garden are welcome to visit on Sunday mornings between services and on weekdays between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

I know that my redeemer lives,
     and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
And after my skin has been destroyed,

yet in my flesh I will see God;
I myself will see him

with my own eyes—I, and not another.

How my heart yearns within me! (Job 19:25-27)
