Creative Beginnings is a half-day preschool program and we have been providing a loving and fun learning environment to the children of Henderson County for over 40 years.
Our PreK is only one of our classes offered.
From the moment you walk through our doors, you and your child will feel the warm atmosphere of love, learning and fun. You will be welcomed by our close-knit Christian staff dedicated to our commitment to excellence. You and your child will enjoy the small class sizes and teacher ratios that allow us to truly know and understand your child.
Creative Beginnings Preschool offers three schedules for classes that are held: 8:15-11:45 AM

Creative Beginnings Class Offerings
All of our classes use the Project Approach as a curriculum that incorporates child-led investigation of worthy topics. It allows children to develop literacy, numeracy, and social studies skills at appropriate age levels.
To be eligible for each class, children need to be classroom age by August 31st.
Terrific Two's
Teachers:
Our 2's class develops their language and social skills while eagerly learning through exploration and discovery.

Teachers:
Our 3's class builds on the foundation of skills learned as 2-year-old children and will begin to share their experiences and ideas about the topics they are exploring.
Fantastic Four's
Teachers:
Our 4s class will foster independence as they begin to lead more sub-topic investigations and develop higher critical thinking skills.
Fours Daily Schedule
PreK Class
Our PreK class is designed for 4 & 5-year-old children. It is offered as a 5-day or 3-day option. This class helps to provide a more comfortable transition into the kindergarten setting. Emphasis is placed on phonemic awareness, numeracy, and pre-reading skills.
Curriculum Specials
We offer a variety of curriculum specials throughout each month for our learners. Activities that are currently offered include: Sign Language, Art, Spanish, and STEM.
Music Programs
We present several musical programs each year for our families which helps expand our sense of community.
Chapel
Each month Pastor Rob leads the children in a Bible story, song, and prayer during our Chapel service. This allows the children to hear about God's love in a more traditional church setting. His message is always focused on how God loves each of them. The children love to interact with Pastor Rob!
Storytime Volunteer Readers
We have a wonderful guest reader program that allows volunteers from our community to visit each classroom during the week.
Community Garden
Our Veggie Garden is a wonderful way for the children to connect with nature and learn about nurturing life. Each classroom has their own box and can plant their own seeds and bulbs each year. It's exciting to watch and learn about nature in ways that may not have been explored before!
We rely on an app called class dojo to help create a sense of community with our families. This app allows us to instantly share messages, updates, events, and photos from class. It’s simple, secure, private, and gives you a window into their school day! You can use it on any device: it’s a simple, free mobile app for iOS and Android.
